Estimate

Ten questions, then a real number

This costs nothing. Ten questions, about two minutes, and no obligation at the end of it. Builds themselves start at $495 plus GST, the cheapest honest thing I sell, and the number only goes up when one of your answers adds actual work. Every answer that moved the number is shown next to it, so you can see exactly what you are paying for and exactly what to change if it is too much.

This is an estimate, not a quote. It is produced only from what you tell me below. If any of it turns out differently when we talk, the number changes, and that is arithmetic rather than a bait and switch. It becomes a fixed price only in writing, after a conversation.

The honest limits

What this number is and is not

It is arithmetic, not a guess. The same calculator produces my internal costing, so the figure you see is derived from the hours your answers imply at a single rate, not from what the market will bear or what you look like you can afford.

It is only as good as the answers. If the copy turns out not to be written, or the old site has forty pages nobody can find, the hours change and so does the number. You will be told which answer moved it.

It is not a quote and it does not bind either of us. A fixed price exists only in a written proposal with a version number and an expiry date on it, issued after we have talked.

It cannot go below the floor. Ownership of your accounts, a tested enquiry path, ordinary accessibility, the technical baseline and a written handover are in every price on this site. They are not options and they do not come out to hit a number.
